As the venue for the Ernie Pieper Santa Clara County Championship for the past 89 years, San Jose Country Club has a unique history of hosting a variety of tournaments on our beautiful and challenging golf course. San Jose Country Club has been the tournament "course of choice" for many local organizations, including the Rotary Club, City of San Jose Sister City (Dublin, Ireland), San Jose Conservation Corps, San Jose State University, San Jose City College, Bellarmine High School, Harker High School, Santa Clara University, Women's Santa Clara Country Championship, Northern California Senior PGA, Cops Care Cancer Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, San Jose Flea Market, Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department and the Sicilian Golf Festival.
San Jose Country Club can accommodate tournament groups ranging in size from 50 to 144 players and our Pro Shop will work with you to personalize and ensure your event is most enjoyable and memorable.
In addition to great golf and spectacular views, we offer a first-rate facility with a wide variety of food and beverage selections for your tournament, social or business event. The Club stores golf carts to accommodate up to 116 players and additional golf carts may be ordered to accommodate up to 144 players. Golf carts are to remain on the surfaced paths at all times, but exceptions can be made for those with medical disabilities. We recommend and encourage you to include this information in your tournament "Rules of Play" publications.
