Thank you for inquiring about San Jose Country Club. The following information describes our current policies, menus and services. We look forward to working with you and creating a memorable occasion.

| Service & Menu Information: |
Menu Selection
Menus must be finalized one month prior to the event date. You may offer your guests a maximum of three entree choices for parties of 100 people or more.
You will need to provide the club with a final count ( 10 days prior ) of each entree. Assigned seating arrangements and name cards must be finalized and given to coordinator 7 days prior to your event. You must provide a name card for each guest with a table number and their entree choice, if more than one entree choice has been given. Entrees choices may be shown with stickers, stamps, shapes or colors, your method must be pre-approved by the event coordinator.
Guarantee
A final guarantee of the amount of guests attending must be received no later than 15 days prior to the function. You will be charged for the guarantee or the number served, whichever is greater. The club will be prepared to serve 5% over the guarantee amount.
Cake Cutting
When bringing in your own cake for special occasions, the club does charge a $2.00 per person cake-cutting fee.
Overtime Charges (Lunch Banquets)
Should you choose to extend your function longer than five hours, you will be billed $175.00 for each additional half hour.
Overtime Charges (Dinner Banquets)
Events are expected to end no later than five (5) hours from the scheduled beginning time. Should you choose to extend your function longer than five hours, you will be billed $250.00 for each additional half hour. Saturday events from Memorial Day thru Labor Day have a starting time of 5:00 PM or later.
Club Capacity
The club can accommodate up to 250 guests for sit-down affairs in the Main Dinning Room. If space for a buffet is required, the capacity is 210 people. Special requests for seating may require rental items and fees that will be billed to the member or host.
Bar Guarantee (Dinner Banquets)
All event packages are required to include one of the beverage packages found on the menu page. If you do not wish to purchase a beverage package, the Club requires that you guarantee that your guests spend a minimum of $20.00 per person on beverages with the host paying any difference that may occur.
All prices are subject to change for menu's planned prior to 30 days of the function.

Payment Policy
Full payment is anticipated within 15 days of receiving the final statement.
Payments which remain unpaid by the 30th day will receive a late charge of 1.5% of the total unpaid balance.
Please see your coordinator for your balance and payment term.
Service Charge and Sales Tax
A 20% service charge and an applicable state sales tax will be added to the cost of all food and beverage charges, (including cake cutting fees). Service charges are subject to state sales tax as per California law. All prices are before service charge and sales tax unless otherwise noted by "Inclusive."
Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit of $3000 is required to hold dates for all non-member events. Once reserved, deposits are non-refundable
for cancellations within 120 days of the function.
A second payment of half of the estimated cost must be made within 120 days prior to your event. Your deposit is applied to this payment. Please ask your coordinator for your payment due date and the amount which is owed.
Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are subject to 100% of the estimated cost.
Club Policy
Engager agrees to be responsible for any damages to the premises during the period of time they are using the facilities. The club will not assume any responsibility for the damage or loss of any article left in the club prior to, during, or following the function. Food and beverage items may not be removed or brought into the club.
Labor Charge (Dinner Banquet Only)
A labor charge of $20.00 per hour per server and bartender that is needed will be applicable for all events done on nights the Club is normally not open. Those nights are: Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
