Proprietary members have full golf course, Clubhouse, and pool privileges
and are entitled to vote and hold office. They are granted an ownership
interest in the Club and the number of memberships is limited to a total of
400. Only Proprietary memberships are transferable and the initiation fee
is the current asking price of a selling Proprietary member. Please contact
us for the current lowest five membership sale prices.
Young Executive members are between the ages of 21 and 39, and have the same
privileges as Proprietary members with the exception of voting and holding
office, and are not granted an interest in the Club or its assets. The
number of Young Executive memberships is limited to a total of 35. Young
Executive members pay 1/2 of the dues of Proprietary members and have the
same quarterly minimum spending amount for food and beverage as all other
categories. The initiation fee for a Young Executive membership is $5,000
with subsequent annual fees of $1,000, which may be used as credit toward
the purchase of a Proprietary membership on or before the Young Executive's
39th birthday.
Social members are an important and vital part of San Jose Country Club's
social network. Social members may choose from two categories of Social
membership, depending on individual and family desires and needs. The total
number of Social memberships is limited to 150.
Golf & Dining Social members enjoy member events, Clubhouse dining,
excellent menus, meeting and event facilities, and swimming facilities on
the same basis as Proprietary and Young Executive members, but are not
granted an interest in the Club or its assets. Golf privileges for Golf &
Dining Social members include:
• Twelve rounds of golf per year, with up to three (3) guests per
each of these rounds, at the hosted rate for play. Guest rounds do not
count toward the Social member's twelve (12) rounds per year.
• An additional six (6) rounds of golf per year as a guest of a
Proprietary or Young Executive member, for a total of eighteen (18) rounds
of golf per year.
• Social members may make tee times one (1) day in advance.
• Social members are not assessed operational fees or assessments.
Dining Social members enjoy member events, Clubhouse dining,
excellent menus, meeting and event facilities, and swimming facilities on
the same basis as Proprietary and Young Executive members, but are not
granted an interest in the Club or its assets.
