Testimonials

"When I play San Jose Country Club I can feel the rich history and tradition of a 100+ year old golf course around me. It makes me feel like I am part of history. The responsibility of a member to be a steward for generations to come.”

-Brandon Bain   Member for 15 years

“The best part of SJCC to me as a young executive is the friendships and camaraderie with other members. It's always easy to find a fun and competitive game with people I enjoy both on and off the course.  Not to mention that the big annual tournaments are a complete blast. You can't find a club in the valley that matches SJCC's access to a great group of members and a course worth playing every day.”

-Tyler

"Our family appreciates and values the outstanding service of the Food & Beverage staff. Regardless of how long or recent it has been between visits, we can always count on a friendly greeting by name, of course!  Spending time at the club, whether for golf, the pool or dining is a great escape from the bustle of the valley below."

-The Crema Family

"I joined SJCC last year because I wanted to play more golf at quality golf courses.  It became a fact, after a couple of weeks I found a great group of seniors to join and was playing two to three times a week with a bunch of guys that gave me the comradery I expected from a country club, including the cocktails after.  But it did not stop there, we found the Chef’s Dinner which was a monthly event with the best of the chef’s menus paired with great wines.  My wife was sold on the deal with those dinners included.  We enjoyed the holiday events and mostly the New Year’s Eve party.  If you are looking to mingle with friendly people in a casual environment and good food; San Jose Country Club is the place."

-Grant & Elizabeth Beech

San Jose Country Club is all about history and tradition.  I am a third generation SJCC member.  My grandmother, who would be about 130, played in the 18 hole group and my father played golf here as a young school kid.  Eddie Duino was a household name in our family.  Fred and I have been members for 35 years; first joining as a young executive.  We have celebrated all of our special family occasions at the Club from our wedding reception in 1979, Taylor and Jordan’s birthday parties and graduations, both of my parents’ celebrations of life and in 2017, Jordan and John’s wedding reception.  This quote taken from the SJCC Centennial book will hopefully inspire the membership:  “We should always remember that the mighty oak is the symbol of long life, beauty and durability, all of which our club stands for.”
